PREMIERE PERFORMANCE OF "INUNDATION"
Jackson's newest work for wind ensemble and winner of the 48th Annual Festival of New American Music, "Inundation," will be premiered by the CSU Sacramento Wind Symphony! This concert is the opening gala to the Festival of New Music, which runs from November 2nd through to November 8th, and comprises of master classes, recitals, and guest artist lectures all celebrating the art of contemporary music.

"APHORISMS" FEATURED AT THE UMKC COMPOSERS' GUILD CONCERT
Jackson will conduct one of his newest chamber works for soprano, flute, clarinet, and piano. Inspired by texts from Emil Cioran's The Trouble With Being Born and All Gall is Divided, Jackson will join Juliet Schlefer, acclaimed NYC-based soprano, in performing "Aphorisms" at one of the UMKC Composers' Guild Concerts.

PREMIERE PERFORMANCE OF "THE QUPQUGUIAQ BELLOWS"
Jackson's first composition for tuba and piano, "The Qupqugiaq Bellows," commissioned by Reid Cox, a doctoral student at the University of West Virginia, will have its premiere this December featured on Mr. Cox's doctoral recital. Concert location, date, time, TBD.
